These 20 Cities Have the Happiest Residents
Happiness is more than just a state of mind – it’s a place, according to WalletHub’s latest report on the happiest cities in America. The personal finance website took a look at which among the 180-plus largest U.S. cities is home to the happiest people in the country. Thirty-one key indicators of happiness, including depression rates, unemployment rates, weather, job opportunities and more, were considered. According to the findings, many of the happiest cities in American can be found in California and Texas. In fact, among the top 20 happiest cities, eight were located in California and three in Texas. Many of the happiest cities also happen to be situated in the Midwest and Western parts of the country.
